MEMBERS

1) Andrei Wall
  
Plays almost everything.   This legendary Australian P.E teacher has got a strong fierce fighter instinct. Has taken part in two Grabbarna Grus tournament, 2003,  2006, where he came fourth both times, very impressive indeed. He has been coaching a lot of tennis. The last three years he has also played a bit of racketlon. He won the Amateurs' plate in British Open 2004. In Belgium he won one game in Class 1. Is nowadays living in Kuwait, but the Swedes hope to "force" him to move to Sweden. Will most likely take part in the next Grabbarna Grus tournament. Check out another photo of him here.

2) Joakim Christensson

Mr Christensson has now got a very nice house and a very nice girlfriend, Pernilla. Plays tennis, squash and badminton. Strong, good-feeling, fit and powerful. Dangerous opponent. Has faithfully and impressively enough participated in all  Grabbarna Grus tournaments, done well in in all of them. In the tournament, 2005, he won 3 out of 4 games. He has participated in three Tennis Leagues for As Good As It Gets, taken one silver medallion and one bronze. Check out some other photos of him here 2003

3) Karl Lundström

Plays tennis. The sociable Swedish and Spanish-speaking salsa-king is capable of beating anyone. Has participated in two Grabbarna Grus tournaments. In 2004 he finished up in fourth place, very impressive. Furthermore, he has also taken part in one Tennis league where his team came third. Mr Lundström had a major celebraton on his 30th birthday party, the 28th of May, 2005.  It was indeed a legendary and unforgettable party.
4) Peter Aspenholt

Plays tennis. Can beat anyone at the right moment. Dangerous. Has played the two Grabbarna Grus Tournaments, 2003, 2004, done well in both. Played a very well badminton game against the winner of the 2004's tournament. Has potential to go far in the next tournament. Have been asked to play tennis for As Good As It Gets, a few times, but has sadly enough not played yet. He will soon though...Unfortunately he now lives in Finland with his nice girlfriend and son.  Check photos of him here and here.
5) Magnus Fredriksson

Plays table-tennis, badminton & tennis. Enormous fighter. Has got sons, twins, legends. Has played in the Racketlon-club, As Good As It Gets for five years. Two victories in table- tennis leauges, and two bronze-medallions in a badminton and and a table-tennis league. He has played in the Grabbarna Grus Tournament, 2006. He came 6th, well done.  Check out another photo of Magnus and his cool twins here, and his sweet wife here.   2005, Magnus's team came fifth in the first Table-Tennis Division, but he has promised to do better next time. It will indeed be interesting too see what he can achieve 2006-8. In 2006-2007 Magnus competes with Gothenburg Racketlon Club in Table-Tennis.
6) Joachim Nilsson     

Plays racketlon, squash and table-tennis. A climber to the top of racketlon? He won the Racketlon Mix-class in Czech Open 2005.This picture here shows his most likely, most interesting, racketlongame ever. He conquered Palkaj in Karlskrona in the semifinal, Class 1, in 2003, after a tremendous fight.(See Karlskrona's Racketvirtuous homepage for more information.Check it out here.) His team Göteborg/Karlstad will hopefully participate in the first Elite division league in Sweden racketlon ever. Exciting. Joachim, the true racketlon player has not participated in the Grabbarna Grus tournament yet. However, we think he will take part in the next tournament. He is, undoubtedly, the biggest favourite if he decides to play it....

7) Andreas Gustafsson

Plays tennis. When he is motivate,  he is indeed unbeatable. Has impressively played the same division in tennis for 3 years and taken the bronze medallion, 5 times and the silver once. Has improved his tennis incredibly. He has impressivly and faithfully participated in all the  Grabbarna Grus Tournaments and done very well in all of them. He was very close in winning his league, 2004, but unfortunately his team-mate became injured. Check another photo of him here and here.

8) Martin Almqvist

Martin  works as a  professional underwater-photographer, plays badminton & tennis. The author and scuba-diver doesn't miss anything! His sweet grilfriend also scuba-dives. Almqvist has taken part in three Tennis Leagues and two Badminton leagues with As Good As It Gets. Won most of his games and taken three medallions with the team. Unfortunatley Martin did not play the first Grabbarna Grus Tournament, because he had an injury. However, in the second competiton he did very well, he reached one final where he beat the "Boråsman". 9) Robert Devries        

This legendary guy has a legendary family. He has played a bit of badminton and works as a P.E and History teacher. Has not played  for As Good As It Gets. Nor played in the Grabbarna Grus Tournament. However, fortunately and curiously, he has promised to play in next year's Tournament, 2008. He will indeed be a black horse. His bechvolley ball and frisbeegolf moves are impressive. Watch out for this dude, 2008. 


 

10) Niklas Ljungqvist

Plays tennis and squash. The P.E teacher adapts to new opponents in less than seconds. He is playing Tennis for As Good As It Gets, he has done extremly well. 2003, his team came third with just a few points from second place. 2004 he aimed for a better placing, and it worked out fine he won his league. He has also played squash for As Good As It Gets, and done well. In three Grabbarna Grus Tournaments he has taken the bronze medallion, twice, impressive.We would better watch out for this dude 2007. We will also closely see what his team can achieve in 2007's division 1 Tennis League. Here is another photo of Mr Ljungqvist, when he wins his league.
11) Kristian Gustafsson

The surfspecialist and professional musician plays table-tennis and badminton. He has got that special touch with everything. He is now a happy father to legendary son. He has reached the final in the Grabbarna Grus tournaments that he has taken part in, dangerous opponent. He is doing extremely well in all of  the leagues he has participated in. In 2002, 2003 his team won their table-tennis leagues, div-3-4. In 2004's table-tennis league, div-2, his team came third. In the same year he played two badminton leagues, his team took  the gold medallion, div-3, and came fourth,div-3. 2005, Gustafsson played at his best winning one team badminton league,div-2 and coming third in the first division's single tournament.  His badmintonteam  won the first division 2005-6.
He will be a tough opponent for everyone in 2007's Grabbarna Grus Tournament.  Check other photos of Kristian here and here
12) Daniel Börjesson        
   Plays tennis and badminton.The sociable "Boråsman" is a "coming man" in racketlon. He has played three Racketlon Tournaments, and he has done well in all of them. In Gothenburg's Regional Championship he came 16th. The Stockholm dude is now a Boråsman. He has faithfully and impressively played  all Grabbarna Grus Tournaments and has done well in all of them. In 2005 he reached the semifinal. Daniel Börjesson now plays real division for Gothenburg Racketlon Club in Div 4 badminton. You can check out some other photos of mr Börjesson here, here and here.
13) Oskar Isacsson         

Plays badminton & squash. Oskar got married with his beautiful Karin 2006. He is the boss over the newest racketlontournament in Sweden, Marsblsåsan.  The kind Math and Physics teacher can trick anyone...In his first Grabbarna Grus Tournament, 2004, he won against the Boråsman, Daniel Börjesson. Apparently he plans on kicking as in  the fourth, Marsblåsan March, 2007. Check it out here. Check out another photo of Mr Isacsson here. Oscar did very well in 2005's Grabbarna Grus Tournament, winning some tough games, beating Lars Håkansson by just 2 points. Marsblåsan, 2005, wasn't his greatest success, apparently......
14) Cristian Steiner        

The second one to the left. Plays badminton at times. Has a scary forehand in tennis. This strong dude did his military service up in the very northest part of Sweden. Up there he kicked as.  
     Played 2003's year's Grabbarna Grus Tournament, did well. Unfortunately he hasn't participated after that. We really hope he will play with us next year, 2007  Here is another photo mr Steiner.
15) Kasper Nordlinder  

The one in the middle with glasses. Played 2003's year's "Grabbarna Grus Tournament". The almost Olympic Champion is fitter than anyone. He has won almost everything on the running track.
     He can also play extremly good table-tennis. We will better watch out for him next year, 2008. Here is another photo of Mr Nordlinder. Nordlinder turned 30 in July, 2005.


     

   

16) Per Lövendahl
 

Per and his nice girl Helen in Lysekil. Plays tennis. The rowing and Vasa- lopps-champion is analytical and technical in his play. He has played in three Tennis Leagues for As Good As It Gets and his team has taken the silver medallion twice and the bronze once. Unfortunatley this nice lad has not participated in the Grabbarna Grus Tournament yet, but there is a big chance that he plays it next year, 2008.  17) Michael  Froch

The exremely, friendly, humours and helpful Michael partcicpated in 2005's Grabbarna Grus Tournament and he did very well. "I loved it, it was of heaps of fun, commented Micke." Micke is genious when it comes to fixing things and helping people out. He has got a very nice girlfriend, Maria and a very sweet son, Sebastian and they are great together. We hope to see Micke in the next tournament, 2007. Here is another photo of Mr Froch.
18) Daniel Persson

Plays badminton and tennis. Daniel studies to become a music teacher. "The legend of music" never gives up. He has played in three "Grabbarna Grus Tournament", and he did well in all of them. Furthermore, he always entertains the whole gang afterwards with his wonderful music. Check out his webpage here. (http://www.dpe.nu/) Here is another photo of Daniel in action, here. Daniel was really tired after 2005's Tournament and Music Entertainment so he fell asleep before going out. "I will make it all the way next year, says Daniel. In 2006 Daniel was the Man the whole night "What would would a party be without Persson, comments Larsson".
19) Magnus Mattsson  

Plays badminton. A dad with a remarkable feeling for most things. Has got a legendary family, which you can see on the photo. He has a really nice newly build house. Played for As Good As It gets one year, badminton, did very well. Check the results here.
His backhand in badminton is well-known in Gotenburg's amateur tournaments.We have all missed him on 2003-2005s Grabbarna Grus Tournament in racketlon. He was about to play 2005, but he unfortunately got badly injured. In 2006 Mattsson played the Grabbarna Grus Tournament, he was injured but he still played strongly. In 2007 Magnus will do even better.
20) Marcus Jennerholm  
 

Plays tennis. This intellectual lad has played tennis in France, a true fighter. He played, 2004, Grabbarna Grus Tournament, did well. He had two tough games against Daniel Persson and Karl Lundström.Check some another photo of him here.We really hope he will play next year as well, 2008.
21) Olle Larsson

Plays a few sports.  This architect is very skilfull and tricky to play  in mini-table-tennis. Is aiming to run Göteborgsvarvet, 21km, again, before he turns 65. He has got a nice wife. Their son is a bit of a bastard, but they survive. You can see them here with their granddughter Felicia. Here ia another photo of Olle and his dear wife.

22) Jukka Salminen
         

Plays racketlon and squash. A Finnish legend. Analytical & strategically dangerous. Can beat anyone in racketlon. Is a very motivated young lad. He is training hard as hell. He has competeted in two Grabbarna Grus Tournament, 2005, 2006. He has done exceptionally well in 2005 he made it all the way to the final. In 2006 he won the whole tournament. He did very well in the World Cup in Racketlon Gothenburg, 2004, where he reached the semifinals for the amateurs. An even more impressive result was his second place in the Elite Class, Helsinki Open. Check it out here. In 2006 Salminen came second in the Swedish Open, Class 1.
      We believe 2007-8 will be Jukka Salminens. He has played squash and badminton- double for As Good As It Gets. 2004, his squash team took the silver medallion. 2005 his squash team played in a higher divsision and they came third and in the badminton doubles they came 1st. In 2006 his squash team won Alelyckan's 1 Division. In 2006-7 Salminen plays Real Division 2 in Squash, Real Division 4 in Badminton. 23) Anders Näs

 Mr Näs is a great dad and he has a very nice girlfriend, Mina, and he is a strong racketlon player.  He did very well in his racket debut in 2005's Grabbarna Grus Tournament. Näs just lost by one point against finalist, Salminen.  Anders has also started to play in Gothenburg's Racketlon Ladder where he is doing extremely well. "I will beat Jukka next year, says Näs with a kind but determined tone of voice." It will indeed be interesting to see this in next year's Grabbarna Grus Tournament. Here is another photo of Mr Näs.
24) Rikard Frigell

This tecnical and friendly lad plays a bit of everything. Can fix absolutely anything, is a bit of a legend. As you can see on the photo, he has got a great wife and a great kid, Emil.  Rikard, who is also called "Rille" is a great dad to his wild and amazing son.  Rille participated in 2005's and 2006's Grabbarna Grus Tournament and he did well. It will indeed be interesting to see him in the next tournament 2007."I will do even better in the next tournament, promises Rille". Check out another photo of Rille here.
   
25) Ståle Sätre

Still waiting for this friendly Norwegian to take part in a Racketlon event. Maybe next year...
He is a great goalkeeper and player in soccer and fitt as hell. He has a beautiful girlfriend. He has, obviously, the same genes as his brother Lars Sätre. His brother came second in the world championships in ice- skating. Impressive indeed. In 2005 Ståle practised a bit of tennis in Oslo hoping to do well in the next Grabbarna Grus Tournament. Hope to see more of Ståle, Stålman, in the future. A future racketlon player perhaps? Here is another photo of Mr Sätre.

 

26) Niclas Larsson

To see other photos press here. What can we say about this dude. He has a nice wife, Camilla, check out this picture and  two beautiful daughters. Jennifer and  Felicia, here: Loves to run,  inline skate and to play racketlon with his friends. Will focus on his children now and take care of his  wife, and take it a bit easy with his training. 6 hours a week, instead of 24 hours.
       He longs for the V Grabbarna Grus Tournament, 2007. "It will be something extra, he says". He continues: "This tournament is a great way to keep contact with friends, my ambition is to keep it going forever...2007 will be amazing for sure."
       Furthermore, Mr Larsson had a major 30th birthday party Saturday the 3rd of September, 2005. Apparently everyone was dressed like a superhero.  Check out the invitation here.

27) Daniel Jäderblom
Lives to far away to be able to play with us. A big shame. A total legend. Expects his second baby very shortly.... Is a multisport freak and a P.E teacher. Fitter than most people. Stronger and more stubborn than most people as well. Maybe he will come to the next tournament. He has played in the Swedish Student's Championships in badminton, and did very well there. A guy who is missed and will be even more missed if he his wife and kid don't show up in Gothenburg very shortly!! Maybe he will run Gothenburg half marathon race in May? Grabbarna grus racketlon tournament in January 2008?

28) Jonas Öhlander

Another guy who we miss a lot. When will he be playing with us? Very shortly, we hope.  Gothenburg half marathon race in May? The English and Swedish teacher has played a lot of tennis. Is very strong in most racketsports. Can be a black horse in the next Grabbarna Grus Tournament? Dangerous opponent actually. Jonas you will have to drag yourself here in January, 2007. It will be good, trust us.
29) Lars Håkansson

The athletic sportsperson, Lars,to the left,  is a popular, dedicated Maths and Science teacher. Lars is a multi-sports person. He is capable of playing any sports and he is a strong athlete he has been second in the Nordic Championships in decathlon.   Lars has taken part in two Grabbarna Grus Tournaments, 2005,2006 so far. He did well in both. Lars won by one point over Peter Stranne in the final round in 2005.  Håkansson just lost by 2 points over Isacsson 2005. "I won't loose against him in 2006, said Håkansson."  Lars kept his promise and beat Oskar 2006. It will indeed be interesting to observe Håkansson and Isacsson's game next year 2008. Will Isacsson strike back? Here is a better close-up of Mr Håkansson.
30) Peter Stranne

Mr Stranne works as a Spanish teacher, and he is doing that extremely well. He is also a very good musician. Peter has taken part in two Grabbarna Grus Tournaments, playing very well,  loosing just by one point in the finally game against Håkansson. "I will beat him next time, says Stranne".  Peter has played quite a bit of badminton before. We really hope to see him in next year's tournament as well, 2008. Here is another photo of Mr Stranne.
31) Victor Lövgren

The friendly girl-hunter and world-traveller, Victor Lövgren, made his debut in Grabbarna Grus Tournament this year, he fought bravely. Apparently he is going to practise before next time so he can beat his brother, Oscar Lövgren.  It will be interesting to see if can achieve this in the next tournament. This will not happen because he will play together with him. Interesting.  Here is another photo of Mr Lövgren in action. Recently Victor travelled around in South-America  for a long time, cool.
32) Oscar Lövgren

The technical and friendly Oscar Lövgren did his debut in Grabbarna  Grus Tournament in 2005 and also played it in 2006. Oscar lives in the legendary, Kålltorp. He did very well in his first appearance, beating his brother in the final game. "I will beat him again next year, said Oscar confidently". It will indeed be interesting to see if he can reach that goal next year, 2007. He never got to play him in 2006 but he beat Rille in the final round.Here is another photo of Mr Lövgren. Maybe he will beat his brother in 2007? This will not happen because his brother and him will play together in 2007. Interesting.
33) Roger Johansson

Mr Johansson is a true racketlon player. He did very well in his Grabbarna Grus debut, 2005,  he came third. In 2006 Johansson played well again. Roger's favourite sports are table-tennis and badminton but he is working on his tennis and squash as well. He climbs the racketlon rankings the whole time. It will indeed be interesting to see how far he can go. We really hope that Roger will take part in the next tournament, 2007. He will be one of the favourites, since he came third, 2005. Here is another photo of mr Johansson in action.
34) Henrik Åberg

The writer and dedicated teacher, Mr Åberg, to the left, did very well  in his racketlon debut, 2005. He commented on the tournament afterwards and he said he loved it. In 2006 Åberg played even better than the year before. We wonder what he will accomplish in 2008. Henrik is a fierce fighter and we really want to see  him year, 2008, as well. We also wish him luck in all his future projects. This man has got some great ideas and we are sure he will go through with it. Here is another photo of Mr Åberg.
35) Sebastian Arnell

Sebastian Arnell, to the right. Sebastian took part in 2006's, Grabbarna Grus Tournament, this friendly P.E teacher did very well, he came third. Arnell will go very far in racketlon, he has played quite a few tournaments, in Gothenburg's Regional Championship he came 11th, impressive indeed. We are indeed looking forward to see him in 2008's VI Grabbarna Grus Tournament.
 
36) Fredrik Hansson       
Plays tennis. This money-earner and great dad knows his tennis. Mr Hansson is getting happily married this year. He hasn't played any Grabbarna Grus Tournaments yet. But we hope he will join us in 2008's competition. He has been missed. His tennis training will take him far.  You have to turn up to the next tournament, it will be great, trust us!
37) Andreas Hylén
Plays a bit of everything. Has not played for us yet. But we hope it is just a matter of time. He is of course missed. Apparently he is about to play some Beach Volleyball with some of the guys in As Good As It Gets very soon. Should be good. 
Hylén who is also called, "Hyllan",. will hopefully turn up to the next tournament, 2008.
38) Daniel Majetic

The friendly and focused Daniel lives in Lindome and has a very nice girlfriend. Majetic is one of Lindome's strongest table-tennis players and a future racketlon hope. His racketlon improves rapidly. He will be a threat to anyone in 2007's Grabbarna Grus Tournament. 
39) Peter Sjöstrand
Peter Sjöstrand has played racketlon for a long time. He started to play 1998 and came second in the Swedish Championships for Juniors then. He has now started to play competitively again and he is ranked among the 15 best in Gothenburg. He plays Table-tennis for Gothenburg Racketlon Club. Sjöstrand will be a threat to anyone in 2007's Grabbarna Grus Tournament.
 40) Johan Hagelqvist

Johan Hagelqvist is definitely a new racketlon hope in Gothenburg. He is focused and determined. Hagelqvist competes with Gothenburg Racketlon Club in Table-Tennis and he will be a threat to anyone in 2007's Grabbarna Grus Tournament. His friendly dad, Björn Hagelqvist, is a strong as Johan in Racketlon. They are both winners.
